Pramiracetam is derived from its parent piracetam (the most popular of all nootropics), but is estimated to be 15-30 times more potent. Pramiracetam differs in its action to Noopept and Aniracetam, which work via the dopaminergic or serotonin receptors.
Pramiracetam appears instead to induce choline uptake in the hippocampus (the area thought to be the centre of the brain for emotion & memory).
Most users take Pramiracetam for its benefits on perception, cognition, learning and memory. Due to its effect on choline uptake, its recommended to be used in conjunction with forms of choline, such as Alpha GPC.
